I've been building for the Web for more than twenty years, starting with static HTML and CSS sites and eventually moving through LAMP-based content management systems, MEAN and MERN applications, and today's React ecosystem.
I currently work within the React ecosystem, creating rich web applications using TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind, GraphQL, Node.js, and RabbitMQ.
The Web remains an incredibly powerful platform for sharing information and ideas. Its low barrier to entry and ability to reach people across an enormous range of connected devices make it particularly well suited to the new ideas and tools emerging from AI.
I hold a bachelor's degree in anthropology, which gives me a different perspective on how people interact with the products and tools we create. I try to bring that perspective into the entire development process, from understanding what users need to figuring out why they behave the way they do.
